Craig Gazey is an award-winning English actor. After attending City College Plymouth, where he gained a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts, he attended the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, graduating in 2005. He is best known for his portrayal of Graeme Proctor in Coronation Street. He has also appeared on the TV panel show Loose Women, the 1000th episode of The Jeremy Kyle Show playing his Coronation Street character alongside fellow cast members, and Celebrity Juice. In 2009, he won an award for Best Newcomer at the 9th Inside Soap Awards, while in 2010, he won awards for Best Newcomer at the 15th National Television Awards and best comedy performance award at the British Soap Awards 2010.
Gazey left Coronation Street in 2011 to pursue his stage career, appearing shortly afterwards at the Trafalgar Studios in the West End in a play called Third Floor. From January 2012 he toured the UK with the comedy Funny Peculiar, alongside Suzanne Shaw, Vicky Entwistle, Gemma Bissix and Dominic Cazenove.
